Dear SMS families,

Sarasota County Schools is pleased to announce the launch of Parent, Student, and Employee Experience Surveys, aimed at gathering valuable insights from our school community team members about their engagement and satisfaction within the organization. The Parent survey will be available from 4/15 - 5/29/25. An email was sent to you from SCS via email on 4/15. The survey is also available on the SCS website under the Strategic Engagement departmental page.

Also note an important change regarding our morning gate opening time for the upcoming 2025– 2026 school year. As mentioned previously, beginning in August, the school gates will open at 8:50 a.m., instead of the current opening time of 8:30 a.m. Please plan accordingly and thank you for your understanding.
